i spoke to a rep ages ago your both right gud is ryco and they also have 4 other names but they are at the top of the tree
71 fj40 front shackle reversal +3" , 55 rear springs +3", 35 15.5 claws , 60 diff's 4wheel disc's , SOON TO BE WINDSOR V8 + 5 speed
74 fj40 stock but very clean
84 bj40 3b stock and unloved

We have cut them open, along with Holden, Ryco, ACDelco and Wesfil.

I wouldn't let e Repco filter out of the box, let alone near a car I own. Wesfil was pretty average too, the rest were good.

It was ages ago now, but the repco Z9 only had filter material 2/3 of the way down, probably like a Z10 shortie filter. It was also packed pretty loosely, not tight like the rest, with lots of paper.
Maybe ok for filtering cooking oil for a diesel perhaps!
