I have no facts to back this up but I would have thought that the vent to the bonnet would better increase the flow then the on the body. Reason being that the air would be drawn to the top of the engin bay where it is needed around the head.
Are they the vents you are using?
You could lift the back end of the bonnet and look like a hard core ricer

for what purpose is this vent? i take it your trying to allow the hot air in the engine bay to escape? i say bonnet as heat rises, and you can replace the bonnet if you wanna sell it etc . i got 2 vents (domed drain covers) in my bonnet but thats on top , gives it that bumble bee look and it does work to help disapate the heat .
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

Now there is a thought. I may need a 5" tip for the turbocharged 4A-GE donk and would go perfectly with the CBR1100 side mirrors with clear indicators, ford courier altezza style tail lights, motorbike fuel cap, patrol bonnet scoop and halogen downlight park lights.
Plus heaps and heaps of other ricey stuff.
Something different has to be done.
But dont fret it will include coil suspension and 35" rubber

How about a vent in the side of the bonnet??
Stephen used an original piece of the air intake (a 90 degree rubber/plastic bend) and cut it into the passenger side of the bonnet, which rammed air across the engine and out thru the vents of the other side of the engine. Looks a little strange, but it is small and we could see how a simple thing could be usefull for adding cooler air to the engine bay (to try and help cool the turbo a little), and also push the warmer air out the other side of the hood.
Cheap and easy.

My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...
