with the aussi dollar strong they appear to be bloody cheap
my main question is what is missing, what else would be needed (manifolds ect)
im an engineering student and im sure with plenty of research and time i could do most of the work myself and im up for the challenge but i need to know what sort of costs i will be up for
if it goes through the roof i think my partner will burn my zook and kick my ass haha
any help and opinions would be great

cheap turbo kits for sierra
There is nothing about this "kit" that looks to me like it was a intended for a sierra. There's no manifolds, no way of dealing with timing, fuelling or tuning.
Have a look at the rest of the turbo "kits"- a ferrari 308 "kit" is the same price as the sierra "kit"
It's $499 of Chinese parts. That's all. That's the easy bit. The hard bit will be in the tuning/fuelling and then trying to get the engine hold together under boost. There's lots of $$, dyno time and heartache between the $499 "kit" and a turbocharged car.
PS that turbo will be massively too big. Notice that the Ferrari 308 "kit" uses the same compressor.
It's pretty much a hoax.
Steve.
