Just wondering if anybody knows if a RB30 out off a vl commodore will bolt straight up to the gearbox from a tb42 1988 patrol 5spd.cheers for any input..

No you'd need the box for a RB30

gearbox for a rb30 will be a MF5 manual (non turbo) or a MX7 (turbo) box.

auto you will use a 4 speed jatco

i have a VL turbo auto that needs a rebuild if your interested and in vic you can take it for free!
