75 Series and Middy panels interchangable?

Post by bIg_ReD_bOiNs »

My ute cab has seen better days and Toyota panels are ridiculously expensive, can anyone tell me if the windscreen frame and doors off a middy are the same as a 75 series ute?

I know the troopy doors are different but I am wondering if I could scrounge doors and a w/s of an frp 73series...

cheers.

having rolled a middy with an frp screen i wouldnt have one again.

could never get the snorkel to stay bolted to it very well, and windscreen fitters have all sort of trouble fitting windows to them (if you get one make sure they know its a glass frame!)

and they creak and grone none stop when flexing.

but thats just my 2cents

and yes any middy parts will fit a ute

toyota still make them new, just find someone who works at toyota to buy it. will only set you back $150/200 more than a frp one.

most "aftermarket ones are toyota ones anyway
