78 series transfer case seal

Post by TroopiePete »

Hi

The front drive shaft seal on my 78 Series has a bit of a leak, looking for information and experiences on replacing this - I have the part but have no diagrams on how it goes in.

My Guess would be to remove the front drive shaft and bell coupling from the transfer case leaving just the shaft sticking out - from there I draw a blank.

If it all gets too hard I may just take it to my Mechanic
