I've seen these before somewhere, a few years ago in a 4WD Monthly mag. they're Chinese made, so could be Great Wall Motors, but yes, they are taking older models (prob buying the old body stamps cheap) and re-inventing them as new cars. I guess not too different to the current crop of Great Wall utes based off the old Rodeo's with some Navara parts.....

Cheers matey, She is an awesome old bus. Love driving it except the fact it stands out like dogs balls. So you cant sneak anywhere :P. The Rims are 16"x10" Allied Wasps with 315x75x16 MTZ's........gives it a nice wide stance :D
