hi everyone i have a winch was working took it off to paint bar and now ive put it back together just clicking in solinoid box.it wont wind in or out
any help be appreciated thanks troy

give all the terminals a clean in the control box. could just be a build up of dirt causing it to not get full power.

could also be dodgy solanoids but it's a bit weird for both of them to die at the same time.

get a mulitmeter or test light... or interior light globe and bit of wire and test to see if current is getting to the terminals on the winch when the solenoid goes 'click'.

forward 1 should go live, reverse another should go live. if not look at solenoids.

if currnt is getting to winch, look at connections particularly your earth.

winches draw big power so need good connections to work.
