Post by madmel »

Hi Guys,

Where can I buy a twin fuel filler neck for my GQ.
I got an aux belly tank and want to plumb it up separately.

I'm in Melb

Thanks for any replies

Long Range Automotive in lilydale, i got a second hand tank and went to see them for the twin filler and the pipes, the sub tank fill pipe is a bit of a doozy, they bent it up while i waited, really good service, its a neat fit around chassis, spring, body, so if i were you i'd get the filler neck, and pipes as well(if you don't already have them), i got the pump to go with it - already had hose clamps, switches, brass fittings so didn't need them.

I can tell you that if you don't run a transfer pump to pump the fuel to the main and use a 6 port valve to use fuel directly from the sub it'll starve of fuel a fair way before empty as the tank is so long - slight angles, acceleration move the fuel around a lot.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots
