LHS brake light flashing when head lights are on

during the day all is good press the pedal and brake lights are fine. At night however when the parkers or headlight are turned on and the brake pedal is depressed the lhs brake light flashes like a strobe.

Cars an 93 landcruiser wagon (80 series) i figure its shorting out somewhere any ideas where it could be shorted. Basically want to narrow my search by only going over areas which affect lhs

Check out the earth on the other bulbs you may find that there is a bad earth and that is earthing thru the stop light or vica versa
If your not the lead dog the view never changes
