What do you think my truck's worth?

Post by Kane »

Hi all, I'm contemplating selling my truck or parting it out as it doesn't get much use these days (was building up to race). So what do you think it’s worth?

1990 Ford Maverick, with the following:

ENGINE:

95 efi tb42 (112 rwkw) Microtech ecu, larger throttle body, bosh VL turbo fuel pump, carter hi volume fuel pump and surge tank and custom air box with 4’ stainless snorkel.
Pace maker extractors with 2.5 in exhaust, long range fuel tank.

RUNNING GEAR:

Laminated front diff with twin shock mounts, rear Koni 90s shocks, and 3 ½ king springs.
4.6 diffs with F&R ARB air lockers and air locker comp, h/d control arms and drag link, new slotted rotors and pads.

OTHER:

ARB bullbar/side rails/steps, guard and rear quarter chop and custom solid rear bar.

Modified Warn high-mount strengthened and braced with 6hp motor, 45mts of 11mm plasma rope.

Racing seats and new ARB compressor under drivers seat for tyre inflation. New 315/75r16 mud tyres, sound system.

NOTE:

Other stuff, but can’t list everything.

got a lot of mods there mate.

sometimes i think its better to pull stuff off and sell it seperately. like winch and that is worth more off the car than on.

hard to find someone who wants all those specific mods.

not sure on a price mayb put it on a bit rich and say open to offers and then its up to what ppl will pay not what you want for it.

Thanks for the reply mike. Yeah i know it's a shame when you spend so much time and money on the bloody things. I was doing it up for production class racing hence the mods.
