input shaft lengths are differant between the diesel and petrol engines
( can be swapped over )

top covers / gearshifts are differant between the diesel and petrol engines
( again.... can be swapped over with a minor grind of an alloy moulding nipple on the petrol cover.... IE: petrol shifter onto diesel gearbox modification only)

bellhousings are differant between the diesel and petrol engines
( straight foward swap over)

2 differing ratio first gears are available for the diesel only, this is related to the turbo & non turbo models ....... see the bible for the ratio differances if needed.
