I'm sure someone will have some fuel figures for you. I'm guessing it would probably be quite thirsty, especially with a caravan in tow.

from Drive.com.au
Fuel economy, though, is a worry. Around town the 'Cruiser can swill 20 L/100 km or more, dropping to a still-thirsty 14 L/100 km or so on the highway.

I have the V8 on direct injection gas. Its 1/2 the cost of my 4.5L 80 series to run.

Ive got a VX 2006 v8 petrol ( effectively the same thing )

Yeah its not the best, 145 liters total capacity get about 750 around town with air on windows up.
But since it's black and with dark tint and looks like a secret spy agency government car, that makes up for it all !
45 series ute - 308 -gas -35's- lifted -no flex..But i got air lockers !

2006 VX v8 4.7 Landcruiser, bog stock. It's black so its cool !

I think you would be better of with a turbo diesel.

go this way. Will be cheaper than a turbo diesel, and just as good towing.

new v8 turbos are nice, but are big $$
