any one tell me if its easy to fit turbo on 100 series or where id find a manual or somethink to help me

Sorry to be blunt mate but if your asking how hard it is and for a manual to do it, You will find it hard.

Not hard at all.
You usally get fitup instructions with the kit.
Hardest job is getting the oil return fitting into the sump.
I had a shop do that part and i did the rest!

be as blunt as u like bud! wat i was asking for waz any input from anyone who has done it and if it was difficult and if there was some type of website or somethink like that can explain how to go about it. not really chasing a rooster breath comment like that

I fitted a DTS/mtq kit, seems to be very poular on a 1HZ.
i got the whole kit as new, second hand, from a mechanic mate of mine for $700. "bargin".
Got a 3inch zorst fitted up after i got in all runing.
Fitted a EGT VDO gauge and them tweeked the fuel screw up.
Still going to fit a adjustable boost controller so i can set that too!

you should search zoltan's 1hz turbo setup it's pretty good.

What he tactlessly said ;) was that fitting a turbo to a 1hz is not difficult compared to some other mechanical work, however if you have little or no experience working on cars you will find it difficult. For example you may have to deal with rusty exhaust bolts. Are you able to remove them, and if they break off in the manifold do you have the tools and know-how to fix it.

In a perfect world, everything will just unbolt and everything you need to replace will just fall into place.. but as we all know it isn't that perfect world.

I did a full dts install ( including intercooler - front mount ) on my brothers '00 100 series near 12 months ago.. with all the avaliable tools you could ever need in my workshop.

It took us (2 of us ) bout 14 hours to do it, and i mean we did it the full hog and did it with no shortcuts or dodgeys...not including the full replacement 3'in exhaust. which we fitted after work during the week.

Given it was the first time i'd fitted that kit onto that type of vehicle it took a bit to come to grips with the instructions but i think that was more the issue with the intercooler, cause it fitted up like a square peg in a round hole and i had to refab all the mounts and get it all sitting right, but its all good and works well now.

All said and done, no additional fuel pump mods were done and we just screwed out the pump fuel adjustment as recommended ( one 1/4 turn out) -
The result was immediate ( as expected ) it had so much power out of the box, it rounded up my modded and tweaked factory turbo 91 80 series ( not intercooled) in a few squirt races on the highway and mountian pulls on the way home..
We ended up sending out the truck ( to a tuning center) to have the fuel mixtures adjusted properly, and i still think to this day, all that cost us was alot of money and for no gain and such at all, cept the inconvience of having to send it back cause it drank so much fuel and the back of the truck was covered in diesel smoke dust. It was eventually put back to the setting i set it up with and came back to a reasonable fuel consumption level and more than enough power..

The only thing i can say with turbo'ing the old 1hz is if you dont get the boost compensator mod done to your pump, your going to use more fuel than one with it for a given power output..it adds about another 1000 1500 dollars to the job - but with fuel prices the way they are going - it won't take long to get that back, and the jobs done properly (imo).

Over all i'd give the job to someone Who's got the experience and gear to do the job along with a bunch of beer or you could be in for some trouble AND KNUCKLE BUSTING ! :armsup:
