There's a reason Toyota released the Prado. the Surf/4Runner is far to shallow (i.e not tall enough in the cabin) to fit a 3rd row seat in. Have you[/i] tried to sit in the load area of a surf?

The only real option would be a rear facing seat like Volvo used, but it would only be suitable for small children, and access to and from would be a hassle. Even the 2nd row seat is better suited to small people.

There's no way you'd get three people in a third row seat in a Surf - it would be far to narrow as it has to sit between the wheelwells.

yeh makes sense..

the reason i was looking at the surf was due to the lower height so i can have roof racks and load timber/wheelbarrows on top.

Having the pajero at the moment with racks it sits at 2.05M and only just fits into some car parks in the city (and some have a height of 2.0M). the old man has a prado and its a touch higher than the paj.

i might just save up the extra coin and get the cruiser ive always wanted...
