Have a look at locktup4x4.com.au prices for crown wheels and pinions. They were the best prices and service I found.Top quality Nitro gear too.

hi there

some info 4 u

try 3:54:1 diff gears thay will help your economy
I have a ZVZ8 in my 84 and still have stock 4:06 diff gears
yes very bad on fuel but mad off road the 4:11 is good off and on road
I am going 3:54:1 thay say this is the best for V6 and V8 old hilux/4runner :P

I would be double checking that the speed sensor mod is installed and working correctly as this will cause it to change gears to quick as well. if the speed sensor in the 1uz does not work it will not change gears at all.

and just for info I get 500+ k out of 55L of fuel on the highway out of the 1UZ the sub oxy sensors are not hooked up I have 4.56 ratio diffs and 32" tyres (P.S I DO NOT RUN E10)
1990 Toyota Surf with a few minor mod's
1UZFE V8 (Engine Conversion by Me)
Coil SAS 60 series front diff (Done By Me)
No Loka's Damb it_____ Just LSD front and rear
