GQ SWB question

Post by swbpatrol »

I have a SWB with 31" tyres on offset 8' rims so they stick out a bit. Just a quick question to those minus mud flaps and flares do u get much stone chips or crap all over your car after removing them????

The worst thing about having big tyres, toyota offset rims, flares, no mudflaps and no side steps is that the car gets really grubby when driving in mud. I have ended up with mud on the rooflining inside the cab, plastered over the rear vision mirrors and the sliding windows end up with heaps of dirt in their tracks. This just makes them rust even faster.

I am currently running rubber flares, but will soon refit the factory flares and make up some new mudflaps for it.
