Hey guys I was wondering if tapping a T piece of the vacum pump on the back of the alternator oil line 1994 4.2 Diesel is ok. It will be easier than using the gromet hole in between the engine mount.

wow i thourght removing a grub and fitting th oil line wuda been heaps easier then .in about with tapping into the back of the vac pump....
i tried to link intot he vac drain for a return n was a waist of time. do it right the first time n save the .in about

Another reason why it is easier is the angles I have to run the hose at interfering with my air intake. If I run it from the grub screw I have to run the braided up past the manifold then down into the turbo.
It actually works out a lot better for me and what I am doing.

That is great news. Being a Garrett using the vac pump oil feed I am using is perfect and the other oil feed near the engine mount would need a oil pressure reducer for sure. Win Win for me.
