Wheres this hose go too? 80 series

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

Was under the 80 tonight and found this hose floating.

me being newish to toyos i could not find anywhere it connects up too.

The pic is from the back and looking up where the diesel hoses come out of the body tunnel. i beleive its the far left one with a black filter looking thing.

or is this normal breather from something? (no its not the diff breather, i was fixing this at the time)

Thanks

had a better look under there.

looks to be normal maybe hanging like that?

anyone else got a diesel with std twin tanks that can do a pic or have a look for me.

appears to be maybe the std main tank breather

nick if you have no joy here ask on LCOOL.
lots of cruiser geeks there mate.

im away for work or id have a look for ya.

I had similar happen, i found a small hose floating under the bonnet but hanging down.
i searched around but nothing seems to be obvious. showed a mechanic mate, he had nothing either... so stashed it in the back and keeping it incase i figure it out.

I believe it is the sub tank breather and it should terminate inside the chassis cross over .
