my altinator in my td42troll has pooep itself today and ive picked a 2nd hand one up off a mate but the plug at the back is different... mine has 3 prongs round hole and my new one has 2 prongs and more of an oval shaped hole.. how do i go about wiring it up to my harness and what is the 3rd wire for????? ive tries looking in the bible but cant find anything info for what i need any info you guys have would be greatly appreciated cheers guys

haha success :lol: ........ dont worry fellas im just being blond again.... i didnt look at my wiring harness under the bonnet properly its already had the wiring adapter on it for the no name alternator so i unplugged it and it was the right connection after all stupid me sorry for the inconvenience guys
