EOI - What would get for my lux if i sold it?

Post by Elmo »

I really dont want to do this but i've been struggling dollar wise for ages and am just about at the end of my options, so im just wondering what i would get for my lux if do have to sell it as a last resort...

Specs:

1999 singlecab lux
3RZ, W56 and chain drive t-case
Front = SAS with 2" drop hanger, std shackles mounted under the chassis, shock hoops, u-bolt flip, Pro-comp shocks, X-Over steering
Back = IFS rears, 2" blocks, Rancho shocks - temporary, see below
Twin ARB air-lockers
35" BFG muddies - Brand new, about 2000km old max
Shorty tray thats not quite finished or can put full length steel chequerplate tray and towbar back on - or you can have both

Awesome condition with only about 115000km on it, however just ran out of rego on the 23rd of may and i cant afford to re-rego at the moment, however it will pass so if you did want it i will at least get a pink slip for you

Plus have the remainder of the parts for a set of Sliders, RUF front end and convert the rear to BA falcon springs, with BUB's EXT'd shackles, inverted shocks, U-bolt flip etc

Also have a G52 and gear drive case as i was collecting bits to go twin cases behind the W56, also have a Snake racing Comp style crossmember to suit the Gear drive case once conversion was done

As well as a set of 37" boggers on 16" beadlock rims which i have just started to make fit on the lux, back clears easy, but front still needs a bit of work, hence the RUF im planning on doing

So just kinda curious to see what i would get if it really comes to the point where i have no other option but to sell up

Cheers

It's hard to put a dollar value on all those mods but hopefully some of the more experienced members can give you an idea.
I have a mate looking for something like your truck though so if you decide to sell send me a pm with some pics and i'll see if I can help you move it.

I agree with johnsy, sounds like a pretty capable

4wd but you will most likely not get what you

really want for it, even if you have spent thousands of dollars

on it but id say you would pull at least something over 10k

why didnt you tell me this on sunday when we were wheelin :finger:
swap you my sas'd paj plus $3000 to you
or my lux plus $6000 to you
thats figuring your lux at $10,000 .
you can even keep your 37's and beadlocked rims.

mattmors... cheers mate, i might be in touch

Specs....Dude, i didnt even realise you were interested, if i do sell, we might just have to talk i think

johnsy and KS GQ... Yea i agree with you too, i know i wouldnt get what its worth, but can always hope...

craz3d.... thats a bit more like what i was thinking...

I found this search tho on car sales... Reckon its accurate enough to go off?? These are all pretty much std tho and most with more kms, so should be able to at least get a bit more for the mods, the SAS and Air-lockers alone would add a few grand??
