hey guys got 2 Q's

firstly ive heard 550 is the going temp for pyro on a diesel, is that celcius or farenheit?
also ive finished mine and ive turned the fuel up about a quarter of a turn but it made no change to idle speed and i think it needs more fuel is this correct?

I am assuming you have a patrol diesel (because of the section you have posted in), Toyota and Nissan diesel can take vastly different temperatures before other adverse consequences emerge. 550 Degrees Celsius is approx 1000 deg Fahrenheit and 550 degrees Fahrenheit is around 300 Celsius not much more than half throttle with a bit of load.
You should only really ever tune your vehicle whilst measuring four vital functions, pyro temp, engine coolant temp, boost pressure (when applicable) and stoich/air fuel mixtures.
You cant tell or tune just by giving the full load screw a turn here or there and see how she goes. Give us a call if you need further info.
