Australian 4x4 Masters rnd 3

Post by 4x4 Masters »

Sunday 27th of June 2010, 9am start

Well its on again, with the first and second round run and won, it is now time to put those strategies into place for the remaining rounds and make up some points to catch the top teams.

So get those entries in early for your club, clubs may enter 2 teams for round 3 if they wish. Entry forms and payment must be in 3weeks before event.
If you only have 1 car ready from your club we can mix your club with another club, so contact us for details.
We will try to have the bikes back for round 3 as they where great.
We are also looking at getting another form of vehicle out there as a mini comp within the comp, stay tuned.

There will be another scrutineering day two weeks out from the event and another marshal training night, keep an eye on the web site for times and dates. If you would like to attend marshal training as an individual you are more than welcome to attend.

Gates open at 6am for competitors and 8am for spectators

All entry prices for competitors and spectators are on the website www.4x4masters.com.au

spent last saturday picking up material for the courses, have a few changes in mind which I went through with Mark yesterday.

At this stage round 3 will see some major changes to tracks 2, 3, 4 and 6 with the remaining tracks getting a few tweaks if everything goes to plan :D but from a conpetitor point of veiw you wont be driving all the same stuff :finger:

A few changes at the bottom near the start of track 6 / villies sign should mean better spectator access and veiwing as well as some of the changes to 2 and 4 bringing better veiwing as well

For those interested, the last weekend of this month will be a working bee, we havea number of clubs and people turning up, but if anyone is free and is interested in comoing out to have a look, help or just thinking about entereing a team or joining a club to compete, contact Mark and come on out

So who is entered this round?? I know Screwy is in the Macarthur 4x4 team 2 and has a lot to prove

Yeah Tiny at this stage Macarthur will be entering 2 teams, 1st team will be unchanged from previous rounds and the 2nd team will be Screwy and myself, and Brett in a shorty 40.
I know team 1 is under going some major changes for the hilux, so will be interesting to see if its completed and how well it works in the next round.

Both Teams will be looking for a good placings but as all have seen in the previous rounds anything could happen as there are plenty of good drivers entered.

There's a slim chance that I'll actually start having weekends off (possible change of career) soon. If so, I'll definitely be there as a spectator.

Ps if you guys need volunteer marshalls or gate bitches etc. drop me a PM. I'm sure you have it covered but just throwing it out there.

I'm with you there Denny  Best thing is that they have no intention of cancelling it if it is raining so we can only hope.

What are you bong bong boys bringing to the party this time ? We are bringing out our ace card  My navi in his blue 45 with a 6.2 chev diesel, should be good for a giggle he can roll his own truck for once :D.
