i bought a resister a while ago and now just went to fit it did everything they have said to do but has not slowed the blinkin down keeps goin full noice just wondering why and if there is something else im ment to be doing

Yup, get an electronic flasher unit. Cheap as chips off fleabay.

This. Forget the resistor. A 2 or 3 pin electronic (they all are these days) flasher can should flash at the correct speed regardless of the load so just beware you won't get the fast flashing warning when you have a globe out.

dont get a motorbike led flasher tho, i got one and it made the leds flash like sos.

i picked up a couple 3 pin electronic LED flasher units not long ago off ebay, they were only $3 each, free shipping!
