gday. just replacing needle bearing after snapping cv at axle section approx 3inches from outside of hub..
noticed that the needle bearings were seized and perhaps this contributed to damage. is there an easy way to get these out or just a matter of 'folding' up the bearing with a punch/screwdriver.??

yeh its the needle bearing in the stub axle. tried getting it out today, broke the cage off. then used a slide hammer and gripped onto the outer lip of the race. I managed to get a good grip on it but the lip broke out before i was able to get it out. Tried again and same thing. Dont really like my chances of getting it out without damage now...

Get a shitty screw driver or long pin punch and bend the tip a little so that it can hook in and hit it out in a circular
motion. Failing that just detroy it. But as already said be mindfull of the hub surface
