Third part component was more than our entire vehicle rego in Vic - for a 4 cylinder car.

With a V8 it's another $150 or so a year.

I nearly died when my rego fees jumped from $450 to $677 for the car from Vic to QLD

the motorbike was even worse. $250 to $477

Ripoff or what.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Tassie, did 2500km's in that time and didn't have to use the horn once for a stupid driving move. Get off the boat back at home last night and within 5 minutes had a moron in a falcon turn right infront of me when I was about 5 metres from him.

That said Peak hour traffic in a Tassie city is is as busy as a Sunday arvo here...
