V6 tank lines and 3RZ vacuum line identification

Post by yamaha__308 »

Just finishing off my 3RZ conversion into a LN65 and I'm using a V6 Surf tank. Which line is the return and which is vent?

Also have I got these vacuum lines right?

IAC and fuel reg and rocker cover go to the intake. I'm just using some tube after the AFM with a couple of ports in it.

Do I need a carbon canister for compliance?

What are the blanked off ones for?

So I took a punt on the return being the tube on its own and blocked off the hose marked carbon canister..

I must have the tank plumbed up round the wrong way then .... I have the one on it's own as the vent :?

Pretty sure you will need the carbon canister for compliance.

Iv always run the 2 pipes out of the fuel pump plate as feed and return and the seperate as the vent line to the canister.
Im pretty sure it will not matter to much tho, From memory they both just go a small way into the tank and end.
