hi all just havin a problem with my head lights when i bought the car 2 years ago i was drivin it back from birsbane at night and every now and then they would turn off all i did was turn the switch off then back on while drivin and they worked it did that till got to gin gin then got the shits and decided to do something about it all i did was hook up the spot lights and haddnt had a problem till the other day i was drivin back to rocky from moranbah and had the lights start doin the same thing with the spotties on got to dingo and no bingo so i just hard wired in 1 head light to the battery

iv just changed the switch and relay still nothing i have all dash light and parkers front and rear but when i turn the lights on nothing for high and low and he high beam light does not come on the dash either is there anything else that could be the problem

oh and i still havent hooked up the front left light if that has anything to do with it i did it in case im out and have to drive home from work or something i can just hook up the light again

Mate pull your steering colum apart inside is a large plug with all the wires for all your electrics pull it apart and spray some contact cleaner in there. Had a simular problem once spent ages trying to work out what was wrong found nothing pulled plug apart put back together have not had any dramers for 10 years touch wood. Ten min job hope that works for you too.

yer thanks mate i will give that a go when it went everytime i went over a bump the lights would bling i thought it was my eyes at first then it just got worst then nothin

Was thinking more about this had problems with wipers on my first 75 was the same plug.
