Mq Owners Need Measurement

Post by A1 »

As stated im chasin the measurement wen steering is turned full left or full right on the left hand side (tierod/draglink TRE )

On the back side where the draglink TRE is to the front of the axle housin ................

The reason i need the measurement is because im gunna fit my Mq knuckles soon and i need to know if this will clear the front of the radius arm on the left hand side

clearance between tie-rod and axle housing. and the diemeter of the axle tube and the diameter of the tie rod would be good to make sure he is comparing against the right measurements.

reason being I don't think anyone has done the MQ knuckle thing on a vehicle still wearing radius arms so far??

he is gonna have to worry about wether the ball joint stud is gonna foul on the radius arm as well. but we'll get to that later :?
I am thinking it will be towards the outside of the arm the whole time :?:

Cheers V8patrol by the looks of your front housin axle tubes they seem to be less than 100mm??? .....this is also critical for me cause the gq 's are bout 100mm and this will degrease the 92mm measurement ..........

I will check tonight and c how far out the radius arms protrude from the housin but thinkin bout it may sit above the highest point on the radius arm bracket.......

thanx again Dan :D
