Is it safe to assume you've already had a wheel alignment? The more info you give, the better the replies are going to be....

Where are you located? You need to take it to someone that knows what they are doing for the wheel alignment. No way you should need aftermarket control arms with only a 45mm lift, heck I've got 3" on my lux (same front end), and the guys at http://www.fourbys.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; get a good alignment out of it. Have done 16,000kms on my mtzs since the last alignment with pretty even wear.

My prado runs a true 4 inch lift and i have no problems with the wheel alignment, sounds like your wheel alignment guy needs to look at it a bit better.
If he cant get it right change to a different wheel alignment shop as their is no way it is maxed out at 45mm lift.

As above we have the same height lift in my wifes one without any issues, I would be seeing a wheel alignment person with a clue.

IF you actually need to change the length of your arms it wouldnt be by much would it? could you get away with offset bushes?
