Need new shocks

Post by stilivn »

Ok so my tough dogs have shit themselves after only 30,000km. Looking at replacing but figured im probably better off getting a different brand. Whats the best shock out there considering im running a 4" lift and its mostly just for off road stuff. Will be doing a bit of touring soon though.

i got dobinsons in mine and i love them great on and off road. Theyre a good combo. Im running a 5 inch tough dog lift with dobinsons coils and shocks. No probs so far but only 50000 km travelled on them dads got a 75 with efs shocks and it is a boat on road seriously the ome shocks he had were better and they were shagged. I think alot has to do with the shock / springs your running i always try to keep them the same brand as that is what their designed to work with.

There are other identical posts on this. Do a search.

Finally figured out how to get search working sweet.
Anyways wasnt much help.

Lots of good reports on boss but when i found a supplier they advised that they had too many problems with them.
Also adjustables dont last that long.

Picked up a set of dobinsons for $250 posted.

Went through suspensions stuff, very helpful.

Feel free to add anything to help others in future searches.
