Early and late 80 front sway bar links
My 80 is a 92 model and my old man has a 94. Noticed that the sway bar links are different in his compared to mine and look alot better in design. Was looking at using these late model sway bar links in mine and seeing if any 80 owners have done the same?
Re: Early and late 80 front sway bar links
I have a 93 model DX and needed to replace the rear bar and bought a bar from a wrecker from a 96 model. Different link to the chassis (sway bar the same design), although different diameter bar as mine, but my chassis already had the factory mounting points (tack welded nuts inside the chassis), prob same as yours. Thought that the original set up I had was better so ended up swaping bushes around and retained my original set up as it seemed a more robust setup. Send a PM if you want photos of the set up

Ive fitted a later model mount with the tierod ends to the front of my 1990 i havent got a bolt in the top mounting hole yet still trying to decide on the best option. I have a 100ser front bar to go on when i get around to it.
