Re: which 33" tyres for troopy
I've got 33x12.5 BFG AT's on my Troopy. Love em. Wear really well. No complaints offroad. Would definately get them again. Can't speak for the muddies though yet.

Re: which 33" tyres for troopy
yeah only 12.5, bfg is one of the only ones that comes 10.5
Re: which 33" tyres for troopy
do 12.5s fit under the guards and do they effect fuel economy????
Re: which 33" tyres for troopy
Ive got mine on a bundy and they fit in the stock factory flares with no lift, might need flexy flares if ya don't have them all ready
couldn't tell ya with fuel economy, only ever drove it once with 31s, and economy and 22r don't go in the same sentence

Re: which 33" tyres for troopy
I run 33 12.5 15 bfg mud terrain km2's under my troopy, they fit with standard suspension but I now have 45mm extended shackles (which only works out ot be under an inch lift) Love the tyres, done over 20000ks with not a lot of wear at all and when aired down they grip like all hell, I will be sticking with them for sure. But there is sooo many other tyres out there that will be just as good if not better, its a big case of do your homework based on what terrain you will cover most, google search till your eyes are bleeding and make the big decision. But as for size, the 12.50 width will fit so it leaves a whole world of options open for you.
Jabber gone. Now have 98 nissan terrano and a 94 4.2ldiesel rv troopy on 33s slowly getting the fancy bits. How the hell do I change my user name?
