Post by 351ciofgrunt »

Hey guys,

Does anyone know anything about these tyres, good or bad?

They're called Achilles D-Hawk M/T

I had them in a 31-10.5-15 and loved them.Great traction and even got good km's onroad.Had them on a pajero for 12 months and when sold they still had 60-70% tread. From memory i only paid $140 a tyre to.

I have the ATR Sport in a 205 -60-16 as a load rated tyre on my work ute ( 2wd Triton ) . And I cant fault them good grip in dry and wet and have lasted years.

I would imagine their 4 wd tyres would be good . Going from my experiences with the ATR 's I would not hesitate to buy their other products.

Just my 2 c

Cheers

I ran them on my jimny for a while, i never used them on the road so dont know how they would handle but off road, they loved dirt, mud and clay they were alright on rock but suffered when they hit wet rock. But overall, value for money they are excellent. Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to get a set this week. Half the price of BFG's...
