I just looked on the flyer also... as a 40 fan i was most disapointed.

Thinking of going to this, never been before.
Can someone fill in the gaps...
1. where is the footy grand final shown? do we all just pile in the winnebago?
2. how far is this pub i hear speak of?
3. has anyone got a photo of these tight turns?
4. what time of day does it usually finish up?
5. what is the official word on flares or is it 100% as per ccda? is there an allowance for some overhang? what detail is scrutineering done?

Cheers Twon

The grand final is shown at the pub in Tarago(you wont miss the pub, you turn at the pub when going to WG)
2. how far is this pub i hear speak of?
The pub is about 20-30mins from WG
3. has anyone got a photo of these tight turns?
I dont but there are lots and lots of pics in threads from past WG Challenges, they might be able to help
4. what time of day does it usually finish up?
Sat, it goes until dark, and sometimes after that
5. what is the official word on flares or is it 100% as per ccda? is there an allowance for some overhang? what detail is scrutineering done?
I cant answer that one

Cheers Twon
Hope that helps you Twonny :D

I haven't competed at willowglen the last couple of yrs so I dont know if the rules on flares have changed, but yes you had to have flares and they had to cover tyres properly.
You didn't just fall out of the ugly tree you were gangbanged by the whole f@#&ing forest

Thats what i would like to know.

It would be good if the rules on flares were relaxed a bit as the trucks look crap with them on and they really dont achieve anything anyway as rock fly up from ground level when spinning

Hi tony
Just wondering if there is any truth to the rumour that all cars will have to have a roll cage?
t price wrote:No point in asking Pricey as he knows nothing official.

I'm saying Willowglen is definately being run over the October Long Weekend, 2nd, 3rd and 4th October.

We will be only running the CCDA Challenge Class. We will only be building the stages to suit The Challenge Class. but you are welcome to enter in a Touring or Trophy Class vehicle.

For more info see http://www.tlcc.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Thanks Tony

Blake, Willowglen is very spectator friendly, Ive been to the last 3, and Ill be going again, its a great way to spend the Oct long weekend, Its a bit of a mission from home though.
Well worth the drive.
And since the TLCC owns the property, they are fine with people staying sunday night and going home monday. Which is a good thing.
Its not far out of Tarago, which is south of Goulburn.
For you to get there, youd take the same route as me, F3 to Sydney, M7 to Hume Hwy, follow Hume south, take 1st Goulburn exit, turn left at servo/lights(signs to Braidwood and Wakefield Park Raceway), turn left and go over the bridge, keep following to Tarago, turn left where the pub is, and then its just follow the Willowglen signs.
Im pretty sure thats right.

I think from memory, last year was about 50bucks for weekend camping and entry.
Yeah mate, sat and sun, they run 2 different comp areas on the weekend, sats tracks are in 1 spot, sundays are in another.
Last year sat ran till after dark, sunday finishes with the mud run and presentation after that.

I don't think Twon needs a red nose to be a clown :D
The only thing that can be an improvement would be a balaclava :finger:

The camping areas are more bushy, but theres heaps of room, its just a matter of finding a good spot that suits you.
