fellow jeep owners,

i have just got a 1994 cheroke , now the interiour light fuse blue so i replaced it and now the interiour light constantly stay on and for the life of me i can get then to turn off :bad-words: has anyone had this same problem or heard of this befor i take it to a auto sparkie and have my wallet raped , also front indicator bulb blew as as you all know when this happens they flash at a twice the sepped i replaced it and it works but they still flash at twice the speed :bad-words: once again this is driving me nuts and more money i will have to for out to a sparkie if i cant figure this out myself ...

any help/ ideas would be awesome thanks heaps guys .....

Geez, I belong to the Rover forum but was curious about jeeps.
The interior light problem is most probably that an earth wire has dropped off a door switch and is shorting. undo all of teh door switches to check that the wires are still on. if not you will have to trace back further.

Re the indicator, most likely you have put an incorrect low wattage bulb in.usually should be 21Watt not 5 watt.
