i got out the first time un-assisted in the comp,
on the second drive i just couldnt make it out, and i did give it one hell of a go

that would explain why matt saw you drive it but ive only seen pics of you getting recovered.... Is the second drive due to pete having breakages? you have to drive the whole courses twice?
