Heres my Paj. Had it for a while now but have started to do a bit more work to it setting it up for easy weekend camping.

Slight lift, ARB bar. I just fitted the STT's and winch. Really just need to get a snorkel now.

Image
packed up for our last camping trip

Image

Image
I have set up a simple storage/floor so we can store all our camping tubs etc under (20 minutes to pack and we are off) and fits the matress off our sofa bed over the top perfect. Front section comes out so we can fold the seats back up. Works a treat and no excuses for not heading bush on a Friday night after work now.

Image
Back usually sits a bit higher. Had a fair bit of gear/water on board. Still need to cut out some excess weight!!

Hi all,
i have just about finished colour coding my ML Triton. My next addition (externally) is wheel arch flares. My quandary is: what colour should i paint them.? Having the bare bones GLX in white doesn't lend itself to standing out that much, hence the colour coding of the Sports Bar, Nudge Bar, Side Steps and window surrounds. I'm very happy with the changes in appearance from new(standard). If you were fitting wheel arch flares as i will be doing, what colour would you opt for ? if you were in my position.
My issue with white flares would be the split piece on the front bar would need to be painted black. my issue with black flares...would it make the space above the tyres look too much

your thoughts
cheers
Brett

here is my new/old 84 model swb, picked her up last week after selling my d1 discovery. as an ex mitsubishi mechanic i realy have a soft spot for em. She has original 179,000k slight lift arb air locker polished bull bar spotless inside and out. i am honestly amazed at how clean this rig is. i took her in today to get a rwc and only needed 3 things wiper blades, windscreen and adjust handbrake not bad for a 25 year old hehehe anyway since iv lost my license for 6 months i have plenty of time to work on it. anyway here she is at the moment..

Brand new to the forum and to 4x4s but just picked up this 1990 SWB Pajero 2.5L TDi. It's more or less stock but has 31 x 10.5 BFG All Terrains on 15 inch 2 piece BERG rims and from what I can tell an ARB steel bull bar. With only 117,000kms it is in really good nick.

Thanks for having me.

Hy every one,
I m having a pajero short wheel base 1990 model.. I like this model very much, so i don't like to sell it. But i m having a small problem in this. It's not much comfortable. As my technician said it was a common problem for the short wheel base pajero's.. I decided to make the rear suspension Coil springs as i it's currently Leaf springs. I think it may help to increase the comfort. I don't have large amount to spend as i m still studying. So I just want to know your ideas about this matter. And if you have more suggestion Please tel me as i m using this as my sport vehicle too..

Bellow are some photos of my jeep.

Here is my 3500 pajero when I bought it.

Image

Add 20+ metres of cold drawn seamless tube.

Image

Mounted the engine properly (that was my 3L NH, but did the same thing with the 3.5L).

Image

Fitted decent shocks, some extra cross members and bracing.

Image

Decided to do something different with the paint.

Image

Now for the fun part.........
