TD42 rebuild

Post by monkeycritter »

Guys, I have aquired two GQ td42 blocks that I have just dropped off to be inspected and rebuilt. Here's my question - I have a GU, and I want to retain the GU vacum pump. Does anyone know the name of the plate covering the timing gears that I need to get so I can just bolt him straight up wiht parts off my old motor?

And before anyone fires from the hip, yes I have checked the "search" facility! Thanks in advance!

Yeh, I thought about doing that, but to cut a long story short, I have two young kids, missus works and we need two cars. So rebuilding mine will put us in a bit of a bind.

Thanks though.
