sierra 2" body lift
sierra 2" body lift
Just a couple of questions on my mates behalf, how many blocks does it need? (we are making them ourselves). It is a 87 soft top sj80

Woah there - the blocks are the easy bit.
There are 6 50mm diameter blocks, under the cab, but these correspond to 6 10X1.25mm studs which require socket bolts to be fabricated.
Just Cruzin' on here sells bodylifts with beautifully fabricated high tensile socket bolts, however, he supplies poly (plastic) blocks which aren't legal in victoria.
There are also 4 blocks at the front and rear of the body, which are 40mm diameter and use 10 X 1.25mm bolts.
There's a number of non-bolted spacers.
IN short, if you don't have access to a lathe, tapping drills, taps etc, you're not making your own body lift for a sierra, because you need to make those socket bolts.
Steve.
