hey guys i have a 2.8l non turbo 94 rocky and i was wondering how hard it is to turbo one , can i just use the manifold and intake from a turbo one etc. any body done it ?

Mate

Its more complex than what you have indicated, lubrication and cooling plumbing also need to be addressed. Probably the reason for the purchase cost of a turbo installation kit.

I have an after market kit installed on my F77 who ever did the work went to considerable effort to install it.

been there done that over boost destroy pistons . had oil return made to go into sump but there are heaps of littel things different. injector pump , vaulve ports oil return (turbo motor goes throught block for oil return )
Put in std turbo motor goes heps better.have some stuff going on ebay next few days ,turbo kit with inter cooler (no pipes) + injector pump needs rebuild as sitting for 18mths + safari snoorkel for rocky no mounting brakets
came of rocky from wrecker .

hey guys i just ended up getting a DL50 and im going to put that in. figured it was better to get all the injector pump and other turbo spec parts in one go. i plan on just re routing the boost side of the turbo to run thru a small intercooler. any one had and experience with this?
