having an issue with my uniden uhf its out of warrenty but has not seen much use dose any one know of some where in brisbane that dose repairs. north side preferably

Or just look for a uniden dealer because most likely any repair shop will have to send it to uniden as service back up for uniden radios is just crap.

just found out with my uniden scanner that it would have been cheaper to replace the unit than fix it...... :bad-words:
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

whats the make and the problem i have a uniden with remote head and it eneded up not changeing channel. turned out it was a loose solder joint in the remote unit easy fix. It may not help you with yours but it was a thought and if your handy with a screw driver and soldering iron turn into an easy fix.

not sure on the model cause im not at home but it transmits fine but will not receive. and the signal bars are allways lit up and no matter where i put the squelch it dosnt make a sound

Does it have a switch called TSQ i think it is... If that is pushed it will not recieve.
Or otherwise the speaker is stuffed.
If its not either of those two then it will cost significantly lots lol
