You can also try Illawarra springs in Port Kembla (near Wollongong). He's one of a only a handful of people making springs in the whole country.

I spoke to Carrolls springs today.

To be honest I hung pretty disheartened as he really wasn't able to tell me anything about anything.

Ian at King Springs in QLD - now there is a very helpful man for custom spring work. I'll go back to him.

The other mob I've had really good results with are Lovells in Sydney and Mike Cherne. We designed some suspension together and I came away very impressed. They were exy, but their level of work and input was totally outstanding.

i've spoken to 2 custom spring makers recently (leaves) and neither know ANYTHING about leaf springs!!! all they do is copy original specifications, then up-rate them for a lifted version - they can't even tell you what the spring rate is on their springs.

One place even suggested my shackles should run nearly vertical for me to get the best articulation from my leaves and said "they work better when the shackles are almost vertical"... no joke!

honestly, unless you have 100% faith in them producing exactly what you want, i wouldnt bother!

Dobinsons in Rocky have been great to deal with for the custom leaf springs I've had on my 40. They have a Sydney branch too (not sure if they actually make springs there but).

Teal? When did Teal become a colour?

Whats wrong with just basic colours, like Blue, Light Blue, Red, Yellow and that type of stuff. Next there will be Lemon, Mauve and Cerice. :bad-words:

There's also Ultimate Suspension in Ingleburn - 02 9603 7677
I've had minor dealings with them in the past for MQ bits, but they seemed pretty good.
