Turbo Diesel Gen1 Auto to Man Conversion

Hi Guys,

Im looking to upgrade my SWB Gen1 Paj to a LWB Gen1.
I have come across a 2.5TDI NF Import which seems to represent pretty good buying, as its got power windows and the nicer velour trim etc etc. Only downside is, its auto :( and I really prefer a manual.
I Also have a SWB 2.3TD Gen1 which I bought for spares, its got a buggered head, but the rest of the rig seems pretty good. My question is, Can i put the manual (and other necessary bits) into the LWB relatively easilly, or will the engines be too different.

I had a sticky beak through the Database and can only find one Gearbox listed for the Gen1's, which I assume is the same for
Pet and Diesel, but will it bolt in place of the Auto box???

Sooooo, no one knows if the 2.3 manual box can replace the 2.5 auto box???

Surley someone knows something more than I.
