Flavour of the month for Guages??

Post by ash_on_mtb »

Chasing a pyro and a boost guage for a TD 80

Who is this months favourite supplied of such highly priced pieces of treasure... Thinking Autometer or perhaps VDO.

Any brands to avoid?

Hi

Have a look to the VDO Viewline.
They are water resistance, come with warn light and there are nine different front rings available.

Sorry that is a german online store, but they have the complete range:

Here the english webpage, but uncomplete:

I like them, because they have an instrument for air break pressure (10 bar) for trucks. Perfect for onboard air.

Dont buy Raid or the relabeled copys of it - they are crap and made in china.
If the instruments look like this ones, then better dont buy them!

Also i would not buy instruments with tinted glass - there are hopeless in the sun.

Hope that helps
Chris
