You are looking between 12-15k Aus for motor and trans landed here, for good 2nd hand units. New 12-15k just for the engine. Trans new 4-5 maybe more have not price a new unit before. Not sure about your side of the pond but.

I just purchased 3 more motors and a heap of transmission last week. I might have 1-2 engines and a few transmissions for sale very soon.

Cheers Heath

I am going to start a New Member thread about my current build. Will keep this tread going for just tech info regarding duramaxs in general.

That red duramax from previous picture just went 1585rwhp  on drugs over the weekend. 1085 on diesel only.

No powercruise brisbane this year. Just not enough time to get it all sorted out.

Might go to sydney powercruise next year but for some fun!!

Hey all,
Just want to put up that if anyone is looking at doing this conversion I can do a universal standalone wiring harness to suit any of the Duramax engines, Which will make the electrics very simple. Can also have factory cruise control hooked up on the LBZ or earlier engines. I have wired 4 of these now, and have a few more on the go, so know all the tricks to get them working correctly

I am also looking at doing a Plug and Play harness to suit GU patrols which will make it even easier.
