The best place to get that sort of info is in passing from those that do it.

Not cutting your grass there Jim, but both the silverado and F series are built to the same US market requirements, so it would be fair to assume that if the silverado meets euro4, the F truck will to.

AFAIK about 10 years ago, the US went from having the slackest diesel emission requirements in the world to the most stringent.

The ADblue/Bluetec diesels were developed first for the US market, IMHO, before they were rolled out for the euro market.

Didn't say that the F series didn't.

Ford have had some, we'll say teething problems, with their later model diesels. They have a new engine again, they say it's the best one yet - though I did hear that last time as well.

Check out the foot room for the driver in a converted current generation F truck before you lay down the cash.

Yeah I'm aware of Ford's hand grenade - the 6.0.

The new one is supposed to be the business.

I'm sure we can work something out for you Aj. Have a nice blue 08 GMC Sierra Duramax there with a tune in it, pushing around 430hp/750lb and still gets 12.5-13 ltrs per 100

Spoke to Performax in Gympie yesterday, and they have 2 sitting on a dock in the states waiting to come over but are being held up with red tape. There is no issue with EURO 4 is other things but nothing critical.

They also said there is a company in Melbourne with a few, But ruff cost from Performax $140,000 :bad-words:
