If the event is to close to TTC as DRS said it will limit competitors, for most TTC competitors anything a month before will be out of the question, I know i wouldnt risk braking my car and not being able to compete in Tuff Truck.

But also is this event going to need rego and insurance or is it going to be rego free

Really anything a month or 2 either side of it is asking alot.

Having seen the terrain where Chris plans to hold this event , I can promise that this event will be a cracker !!!

It goes without saying that the Canobolas crew from Orange will be there to compete and / or help out if needed .

Confirmation Rockpecker 2011 will be held on the weekend 14-15 May 2011. The event at this stage will be a CCDA event which means all particapants will need to members. The event will be a Club based event very similar to Toperi. Two vehicle team's with a maximum of two team's per club (maximum of 40 teams).Non registered vehicles will be allowed to compeate subject to conditions. The event will not be open to buggies. All vehicles will require at least 75% of the original chassis and 25% of the original body. All vehicles will require at least a SIX point internal or external roll cage with one diagonal cross brace, full harness seat belts and window nets. Open top vehicles will require a metal plate fixed above the driver's and navigators head's, at least 2MM thick for steel and 4MM thick for alloy. Entry fee's and full details to follow at a later date. The event will be held at the Rock Farm 20klm north of Cooma NSW just off the Monaro highway.
