Loktup 4x4 Hilux Flex kit Q's

Post by rubberducky »

Gday guys just chasing some last minute tips.

Vehicle - Hilux "84 Ln65 single cab

I have been looking into and saving for the 4" complete flex kits front n rear from Loktup 4x4, being in kit form and saves me alot of leg work i dont get time to do. I would like to have everything all ready to go before i begin cause i want to have the truck back on the tracks asap for obvious reasons haha.
I no that i will need to get at least a front tailshaft extension and am able to source one relativly easily/cheaply. I have questions on the single peice rear shaft, what is the best way to go for ease of fitment? or are there any cheaper alternatives that arent too much of a pain to fit?
Also fitment of the kit? Well aware that measuring, grinding and welding will be required for the install, between myself and the mates that are giving a hand we can use basic fab gear fairly compitently. If any one has fitted this kit or similar is there anything i need to look out for or special tools that helped out alot, any feed back would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks heaps in advance
