Hi guys
after some advice about running 37's on a V8 D1.
My current set up is 35 KM2's, 2 inch coil lift, 2 inch body lift, cut and flared guards, pegged 4.11's etc etc but the 35's just arnt cuttin it anymore and I wanna go bigger....the relentless pursuit of perfection
anyway, the choice of an aggreessive muddy in 37's in a 15 inch rim is quite limited, so what's my choices, will I have to go to 16 or 17 inch rims to give a wider choice in tyres and if I do whats available?
To get the 37's to fit I am happy to go to a 3 inch body lift and the guards mioght need a kiss from the grinder, but thats fine
btw, its just a weekend truck so daily running is not an issue.
any advice appreciated

sticky treps in 16's, can't beat them for price and performance, as long as don't have to haul far to get wheeling if ure drivning it there and not towing, etc.
u can get 17 x9 in rover stud pattern now but the 17's in the treps are more exy and less tread depth - more set up for pure rock.
my 2c worth....

I don't think rover diffs are capable of coping with 37's unless you drive very carefully, but if you want to, go for it.
Tyre choice for me would be maxxis trepadors they seem to do every thing quite well .
A bump stop extension might help with clearance while keeping COG low,

out of my mind, back soon.

thanks guys, should also mention it is dual locked and fitted with HD axles and CV's so it should take a bit of a punishing
whose selling the 17x9 rover rims...havent heard of them on the market yet, I was tossing up whether to get EWW to make some up if I went that way
I will check out the treps, I have read some great stuff about them on the rocks but I mostly do the wet sticky stuff so not sure if mud is really their thing...I was thinking 36 inch ET's but thats as big as they get and only come in 15's and 16's

these creepies, does anyone know if they are available in Australia in the 37x12.5.x15 or 38x13.5x15....that might be my answer to the 15" question

I wouldn't bother lifting the vehicle any more, with enough guard chopped and cleared you will get 37s under there easy.
Check the current clearances under flex with the 35s and if you find there is still an inch of room around the inner guards most the time then just wack the bigger rubber on.
My 37s rub a bit, but that's a driver aid, just to let me know when I am flexin hardcore
As for tyre choice, BFG Krawlers are cool, maxxis tyres in general are cool! But if its for pure mud driving go boggers
